In 1945, the study association VSV ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ was founded. A new study association which would dedicate itself to the students Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology, then called the ‘Technische Hoogeschool Delft’.

To celebrate its 15th lustrum, the society has thought of an ambitious plan: design and launch a satellite.

This great project has one main goal: Increasing the general enthusiasm for technology and space travel among children. Next to that, we want to show that when you dedicate yourself to something, everything is possible. Like John F. Kennedy once said: “We do not do these things because they are easy, we do these things because they are hard”.
